Great vibe and decor inside the restaurant. Knowledgeable and friendly team members. We had to wait until 715 for our 645 reso. Cauliflower was tasty but $17 for two florets. Halibut was also tasty but tough to finish given the amount of oil it is served in. Biryani was pretty flavor however the raita saved it. The dal side was average. The mango dessert was overwhelmingly sweet for us. $6 for one naan is really pushing the price envelope.4% mandatory service charge that does not go to staff. Overall fun to try some new things and everything looked beautiful but we doubt we will return.

Gorgeous restaurant, excellent service. Food was not enjoyable to me as a lover of traditional Indian food. If you are into a new/modern take on Indian food, this would be a great spot for you! I appreciated the beautiful setting, Indian cinema-inspired drink menu, and kind and attentive staff.

Fun spot! Food and drinks were inspired and flavorful. Our server benjamin was highly knowledgeable about the menu and walked us through with some suggestions, everything was delicious. The vibe was great too – the only thing is it took us about 30 min to be sat even though we had a res. It was nbd because we just sat at the bar and had a drink, but this place gets very busy!

I had an amazing time at Baar Baar! The interior is beautiful and super vibey. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent for a restaurant that just opened. The wine list is one of the best I’ve seen at an Indian restaurant. Such a kind and knowledgeable sommelier too. A must visit in DTLA!
