My husband and I stopped in after work, our first time there. We’re definitely hitting this spot again. The sandwiches were delicious! Juicy and flavorful meats. The hand cut fries weren’t soggy or bland, crispy with just enough seasoning. We found our new local hangout for a mouthwatering sandwich. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great food and great atmosphere!! So just finished up a pottery class and was hungry. We didn’t want a chain we wanted something different. This place was amazing and It’s a sandwich shop for sure with a caveat got to be one of the best sandwich shops. I’m not sure what the fries are seasoned with but it’s phenomenal. The onion rings were crispy and the dipping sauce… Which I normally avoid was just right. The atmosphere is pleasant and helpful. It may be on the pricier side but as we found out the portions are generous. We ended up having two lunches so it’s a good deal. For a suggestion if you like a Reuben… This is one of to two I have had since living in Ohio.

We love this place! My youngest asks for it all the time. Delicious food especially the Philly steak & fries. Great customer service. It’s nice having a place to eat that both kids enjoy & we don’t have to fight them to finish their food. Clean plates all around.

12/10 recommend – it was mine and my boyfriends first night eating here. It’s always a game on where we want to eat out on the weekends anyways, he saw babas grill and we ended up trying it tonight for the first time and it was DELICIOUS we even got carry out and it was still sooooooooo good! We got the phillys, fries, and pickle spears… definitely a spot we will be eating out from here on out!

Plan on stopping here! While visiting Newark I stopped in and had the Philly and it was one of the most flavorful sandwiches I’ve ever had. The fries were also crispy and seasoned to perfection. The staff was extremely kind and didn’t mind making some menu recommendations since I’m not from the area. The next time I’m in Newark I’ll definitely be coming back!
