Holy Cow!!!!!! Babylon has some good food!!! I got the Chicken Shwarma and I absolutely loved it! If you’re getting a shawrma go for the boom boom sauce or the a-1 sauce. I paid just over 8 dollars and they will throw in a soda. The lady who was so kind said she had an extra fry and gave it to me as well. The service was very good. The food was unique and delicious at the same time. The atmosphere was its only downfall. It did not feel that clean. That’s ok though, Babylon is worth a visit!

Nice halal Turkish kitchen/ with seating area in a grocery shop. Breads are home made. Shawarma is no way close to middle eastern type. It was tortilla bread with subway style veggies and add on’s sauces. Not bad to try fusion shawarma.

This is a small market that also sells prepared food such as shawarma, kebabs, and desserts. I came here for a takeout lunch and got the chicken kebab sandwich. Y’all THE BREAD! The bread alone is why you should try this place. It’s baked fresh every morning. You can buy is separately, use it for a sandwich or as an accompaniment to a platter. The bread was fluffy, soft, and damn delicious!

I stopped here for lunch while traveling on i-80. I tried chicken kebab over rice with salad and it was great. It was more like the Iranian version of kebab which is a good thing. Iranian cuisine is more rich than turkish.

This is the second time I’ve ordered Halal food overall and I am blown away by how good the experience was (first time was a different place). A family run business I was served by the son, I presume. Very friendly with a good taste in food. He recommended a shawarma wrap. And so i got a beef shawarma with cucumber, eggplant, lettuce, onions, pickled cabbage, and a fair amount of t-ziki sauce. From service to food this place is a 10/10 and I will be returning quite often for more delicious deli food. Again, I can not overstate just how good the wrap I just ate was. Packed with flavors from such a different regional palette than I am used too, it felt very authentic culinarily wise with amazing taste, proper texture with fresh ingredients, and expertly wrapped. I want to order another but my bank account says I can’t right now. Returning very soon for more delicious Halal deli food!

First visit to Babylon and was impressed with the variety. The chicken shawarma wrap was tasty with many topping options. The sauce variety was geared to the American palate and I hoped it would be authentic Kurdish and the reason for only four stars.
