I ordered a medium oxtail platter and the lady literally gave me THREE oxtail. I asked her did she really just only give me three and she told me three big ones. I literally just paid $16 for an oxtail gravy and rice platter SMH I will not be back this is a rip off literally. If there was a negative star option that’s what they would get.

First time here and WOW jerk chicken VERY flavorful & not too spicy and usually getting Mac n cheese as a side isn’t that good at Jamaican restaurants but this is actually really good too.

At 9pm on Sunday this place had everything on the menu , that made me happy because I stopped at top taste first and they only had curry chicken and rice.

Hands down one of the best Jamaican spots around. The owner/cook reminds me of the dad from the Sean Paul-Get busy video. ,,,I’ve had the curry chicken, the fish but my favorite is the jerk chicken. He grills that chicken to perfection every time! The mac n cheese is always good af to even they do give you the end of the pan.

Surprise little gem in a rough neighborhood, gotta love Philly. Flavors were there but actual meat left a bit to be desired. Awesomely seasoned stew beef, the cut of beef was just not right for me. Awesomely seasoned jerk chicken, but the actual chicken was just south of being “normal”. Maybe a change in butcher? Who knows, but listen I’ll go back because somethings have quick fixes. I’ll see if they have a white meat option for the jerk chicken

I always eat here food is good but today I ordered a large oxtail and only got 4 small oxtails in the platter for 18 dollars at that price point there should be either bigger oxtails or more to the platter! I felt completely robbed and I won’t be returning and not to mention they don’t accept cards and I came far to get my food from here. I still tipped and left gracefully but they need to do better!

The food is really good. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Called in my order at 9:02 for a large ox tails with mac and cheese and cabbage. I arrive at the store at 9:16. 3 customers ahead of me. I told them what I ordered, she said she was making it now. I asked again where my platter was. She said they were steaming the cabbage. 1 more time I asked about my food, after several people walked in, ordered, received their food and left. They tell me they don’t have any mac and cheese after I’d been waiting for half an hour. I told them just give me white rice. They served a few more people. It wasn’t until I asked if they just weren’t gonna make my food that I finally got served. I cant say it was worth the wait, but i do really like the food.
