Main theme is jerk seasoning and sauce. Several meat options, including pork ribs, salmon, and oxtails. You generally pick a protein, and it’s served with a rice and beans side dish and a couple of pieces of fried plantain. Never having tasted oxtails before, I ordered a combo of jerk chicken and oxtails. The chick was delicious. I discovered that I can live without eating another oxtail, but it’s because it’s too fatty for my taste. Flavors knocked my socks off, though. The sides were excellent as well. A combo meal, and a piece of pineapple upside down cake set me back $26. Would do it again tonight, but want to try something else new. Absolutely worth a visit!

Got Back A Yard to go for lunch yesterday and it is always great at every location. We always get the Ox tail, but I wanted to try something else along with it. So I also got the hot link and bbq chicken. The chicken was so tender and smokey and you can never go wrong with hot links. Definitely recommend getting anything they make.

The food was just as good as I remember from the prior location downtown. Curry goat and jerk pork yummy! The front of the house staff were doing their best, but also seemed to be struggling to keep up when I visited. The kitchen team was engaging and seemed happy when connecting with people. Wish they had non plastic take away options.
