They only had 2 pies available coconut or raisin cream cheese. I got the pulled pork, mac n cheese(which I could tell was homemade), & baked beans. The dinner also came with a corn muffin; which was delicious.

This is the first time we’ve been there. We both had the pulled pork sandwiches. My husband really liked the pulled pork plus bacon and pepper jack cheese. They said tomorrow Easter they will be open and have dine in for first time in a year. So welcome back!

One of the only places that was open on Easter Sunday so we ate here. They were only serving the special as it was a holiday. Husker pork chop, cheesy potatoes and fresh green beans with bacon. It was ALL delicious. The pork chop was ham tasting and SO tender. Give them a try!

I called them for take out for my mother’s birthday. After looking through the online menu I had made the choice of what we wanted to eat. We called and the server didn’t even know what the family dinner consisted of, so the owner got on the phone and she tells me they can’t make that because they don’t have the items, but I can pick and choose from the menu items I’d like, well I picked and then they tell me they only have baked chicken or pulled chicken, not half a bbq chicken. Between having to hear her correct her child at a place of business to having nothing I want to eat unless it’s sandwiches, I’d recommend McDonald’s over this place.

Amazing wings and smoked chicken! The Jalapeno Popper Macaroni Salad is so addicting. Not too spicy but very tasty. The blue cheese and ranch on the chef salads that are as big as your head do not disappoint and are enough for two decent meals!

Food was delicious. I ordered the pulled pork and brisket. Mild bbq sauce. Baked beans and coleslaw. Along with a cornbread muffin. All was made in house. Brisket was so tender I could cut it with a fork. Pulled pork was moist and full of flavor. Staff was excellent. Thank you for having us for lunch.

This place has great food….when their open. I don’t understand how you can keep a business open when the owners just close at a whim. It is hit or miss. You are looking forward to some BBQ, AND THEY ARE CLOSED! Also if they are open, half the time no one answers the phone to take orders. Others times they are out of many menu items. This could be a great 5-star restaurant if they would have regular hours and get their stuff together. VERY FRUSTRATING!!

By far the best BBQ joint in town. I have tried about 10-15 different menu items and I have never been disappointed. Best brisket I’ve ever had. The creamed corn and corn muffins are what dreams are made of. Stop by on a Saturday night for a roast beef dinner, but be sure to go early, they do run out! Not a complaint, just a testament to how good their food is. Kathy and her boys, as well as all the staff, are the best! Standup job all around.

Don’t let the run-down ambience fool you, this place is fantastic. Awesome bbq-focused menu. Be careful not to order too much food, the portions make this an incredible value. While the sides are average….the entree was flavourful. I loved my brisket sandwich, and my wife’s nacho supreme with brisket was tastey. We’ll be back with our hungry teenager next time.

Back Alley consistently has such great food! It is always delicious… the meat is flavorful, juicy, pulls apart, mouth-watering awesomeness that probably doesn’t even need the BBQ sauce but they have it on the side for you anyway! Whenever I have visitors from out of town, Back Alley is my top dining recommendation.
