First off, our waitress walked up to the table and just stood there. I had to speak first. She didn’t warm up until she saw that tip; non deserving, by the way, but I’m very merciful. Other than that, the wrap was good and so were the fries but they could have been hotter. All the food was lukewarm. The restaurant is nice and clean. Despite the minor issues, I could possibly be back if I’m in the area.

Quality burgers. Had the OG with bacon and the Breakfast burger. Both were good. The Brisket Frito Pie was worth every bit of the heartburn. Salsa was ok, but the queso was good.

We love BPD! We go every time we are in the Roanoke area or have a mani/pedi day. Our favorites include the Josh Plate, the Sweet Dixie Pecan Chicken Salad, and the So Gouda Mac & Cheese bites. This past weekend, I tried the Barnyard Freak burger (pictured) and OMG [drool]. It was amazing! The smoked pulled pork really gives it that extra kick of flavor, and the egg was perfectly runny. I even subbed for a GF bun (damn gluten allergy) and still … best burger on the menu (so far). To top it off, the beer is ice cold, and the GM, Chris, is very personable. Ask him to tell you a joke the next time you’re in. But be prepared; don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Stopped by for dinner while staying at the Home 2 Suites. The beer selection is good and the Shiner was cold. I had the chicken Philly that was like no chicken Philly I’ve ever had before but was enjoyable. The fries were good as well. My server was very nice and personable but some of the staff weren’t very engaged. I suggested this restaurant to some coworkers who were arriving later that day but they had a hard time finding someone to seat them and take their orders. I get it, Sunday night a half hour before closing time isn’t the best time to see a big table of customers come in but I felt bad recommending the restaurant to find that they didn’t have a positive experience.

Delicious selection of food and drinks. Customer service is absolutely great. Food comes out really quick. Ordered an appetizer and it was delivered to our table in less than 5 minutes. Lots of TVs for the game and a huge bar selection of drinks and beer.

Sydnie was a splendid waitress. Friendly and efficient. A beautiful girl with a beautiful demeanor. We ordered the Brisket Nachos, Baha Shrimp Tacos, The Legend Burger and Dallas Blonde Ale. Flavors of each dish were distinct with no overpowering spice. Brisket was nice and lean. Shrimp tacos were sweet with a touch of heat. Resturaunt was clean and fresh. Booth, table or bar seating. Bar is divided with a plethora of drinks. Back Porch Draft House will not disappoint fir a date lunch or just a casual meal.

Great food, great bar and the staff were all helpful. Honestly had a really good food experience I wasn’t expecting at a place I would consider an after work bar kind of place. The chips and salsa and queso were surprisingly good. The brisket sandwich was excellent and I also tried the Alabama white BBQ sauce on the side. I’d have to say it is a must try.
