I’m not one to write google reviews but dang just had to for this place. It’s worth the drive and the money. The brisket was actually moist it basically melted in my mouth (have had a very hard time finding good brisket here in Ohio), pulled pork was very tasty and the sides were delicious. High key would recommend this spot. I’m a spicy guy but I think original house sauce was my favorite out of the 3 I tried. Can’t wait to get in for these ribs next time before they sell out!

Hands down the best BBQ! I never was one for a lot of the BBQ meats at other places, but this one is definitely different as it has the best tasting meats around. First time we tried the 3 meat tray (turkey-brisket-pulled pork)and its was so good. This guy knows how to make excellent BBQ meats. Stopped by the other day and they had ribs. I got 1/2 slab and again these are the best ribs we ever had. We definitely will continue to buy our BBQ from Back Country. Everyone there that I had met, seems to be super nice. One bonus is, they will be open as much as possible thru the winter! Excellent food and great people and service—what more can you ask for……

It’s a bbq stand but it was excellent. I got the beef brisket and my husband got the 3 meat plate. We got the cornbread and smoked Mac n cheese as our sides. The cornbread is as good as my own. We were on our way home from North Carolina and it’s off the beaten path but it is well worth it.

My daughter has a volleyball tournament near this place, so I discovered Backcountry Barbecue by accident: WOW was that a treat! I had a pulled pork sandwich and half of my wife’s brisket (mac+cheese, slaw). Exceeded my wildest expectations.

Where to start? I almost never bother to take the time to leave Google reviews. This place deserves it and then some. Like others, I first experienced their food when they were at Rockmill. When I couldn’t them there I was desperate and searching. I thought it would live only in my memory like Jack from Titanic and the old lady’s mind.
