My husband wouldn’t believe it would be any good in a small town like this, but I am so glad he was wrong. The previous reviews didn’t lie. It is a great steakhouse worth trying! I had the surf&turf and the steak was excellent. I also liked the batter on the fried shrimp and okra as a side dish. The beer flight was great, because all the beers had a different flavor. The fries! Together with the atmosphere and service. It was a pleasant dinner.

A bit too dark inside, but fairly good food! My steak was cooked perfectly. The grilled shrimp were small and underwhelming. The fried shrimp, sweet tea, and bacon wrapped jalapeños were great. Our waitress was very attentive, and our table had so much fun looking at the painted murals and decor all around. Overall, great experience.

We ordered the steak and the surf and turf. Everything was excellent from the food to the service. We gave up on Backdoor a few years ago and recently decided to give it another try. We’re so happy we did. Very please to re-recommend our lil hometown restaurant again!!

Ordered a ribeye but got a sirloin, said it was the cut of the meat but taste test with actual ribeye next to me said otherwise. They did rectify by charging for a sirloin. Service was friendly. Wife’s steak was ordered medium and was well done. Rolls are great, salad was good drink service was a bit slow and soda selection has no zero options
