Ordered a 3 meat plate with Potato salad & beans took about 15 to 20 minutes to get my food when there was only one other customer in the restaurant. The Brisket had no flavor or smoke ring & tasted like it was made in the oven the ribs had no smoke ring at all the Potato salad tasted like it was going bad . I ended up not eating & took it to go to give to my Dogs.

My daughter seems to love the breakfast but I didn’t get to eat my food seeing as I’m allergic to pork and I asked for Biscuits and gravy and the server rung my up for sausage gravy.even after I told her I don’t eat meat.. and them kept insisting that I add meat to my daughter’s plate after I already said no

VERY PISSED… (To go) I ordered a 3 meat plate (3 pieces of sliced brisket, and sausage w/ side of sauteed cabbage and coleslaw). My brisket was 3 slices of fat and white with barely any meat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My cabbage was soggy like it was frozen and then reheated . I just ate the sausage and threw everything else in the damn trash ️. It pisses me off that I spent my money on that.. such a disappointment since I have ate here before and actually enjoyed it but not today! I’m not going back no matter what-Ohhh but the baked potatoes with chopped brisket (no fat) looked amazing as my family sat down and ate while I sat on the couch mad at the world . This review is for breakfast only!!! This is the Texas roadhouse breakfast that you are dreaming of! We were immediately greeted by a friendly waitresses The place is classic, Americana, lots of local culture to take in…My husband went all in on the chicken fried steak with gravy. [ Which they say is the best in town! ] I just got a biscuit & hashbrowns because you can’t always trust superlatives! But, as soon as I had a bite I had to order some for myself! Buscuits are made in house daily & they have actual honey! + the gravy was perfection! The iced tea was just ‘aight, though! I was excited when I saw it because it looked strong but, the flavor was meh. I’m not sure how that happens? I guess maybe the tea is old or just not good quality? Being from the south; myself I normally would take points off for meh tea but over all this place was a pleasant suprise!

I order a lot from Backdraft. The BBQ is great and the customer service is top notch. Try the Samplers Platter and fried zucchini! Their Chef salads are also so good because you get real meat instead of cut up lunch meat like at other places. Also, breakfast is amazing. I ordered the Breakfast Sampler. They have a very well put menu and often run specials like meatloaf. Their menu is diverse so, it’s unlikely you won’t find something you’ll enjoy! It’s a good spot. Backdraft is now available on Waitr, Doordash, and Grubhub! P.S. The portion sizes are huge so, you don’t need much!

This place is a must for any Firefighter or first responders. Small place, great food. I recommend the Brisket Baked Potato.. I would have taken a pic but it looked so delicious when she brought out order all I could do was eat. The collection of fire memorabilia is great inside & out.
