Closed due to COVID…. Dude. That was March of 2020. It’s January 2023. Yet another example of a business (Providence Hotel) using a pandemic that ended 2 years ago as an excuse to cut costs at customer’s expense. Disappointed – the $300 per night Hotel experience isn’t nearly as nice without the ability to order room service. Guess I’m gonna have to walk to the liquor store for warm champagne at 8pm.

Phenomenal service, exceptional menu options. The food was OK, not bad. The flavor just did not match the exceptional atmosphere and service.

I had gone with a group of friends after an event on a Sunday night, so, clearly, staffing would be low. A lot of other event attendees were already there and you could see the one bartender was busy.

I was looking at reviews and wonder what was different. I thought the food was wonderful! I’ve had breakfast and dinner here and enjoyed everything I’ve had (as have the 4 other people who have eaten here with me the last 2 days). The BLT scallop risotto is delicious! Sweet potato clam chowder was lovely as well.

Awful service and overpriced drinks. Say at the bar for 10 minutes before the bartender even acknowledged our presence. The space wasn’t even busy. He seemed to be conversing with his friends at the opposite ends of the bar. When he finally DID acknowledge us, we were met with immense attitude like he was annoyed that we came in and wanted a drink at the bar…..Providence has way better bars and restaurants with better quality cocktails and staff.

Wonderful breakfast in an upscale setting. Great service, Harold was charming. Eggs Benedict was great, Greek omelet too. Home fries were done perfectly. Good coffee.

Bartender was very friendly and he tried to accommodate me as well as he could i think. But he never checked up on me… i work in the business as well but the food was awful, the chicken in the panino was flavorless and dry, it was faling out of my panino… the tomatoes were gross as well as the romaine (soggy, wilted). Music was the only reason that attracted me to the place but the experience was just not pleasant

We’ve only been here after shows at PPAC, but in those times we enjoyed ourselves. It is generally not overcrowded after shows, we’re able to get a seat at the bar. It is modern looking on the inside, also not too loud. We were able to talk to have a conversation with friends without yelling

Looks great. Stopped in for drinks, gave bartender a $20 for a $16 tab. She gave us $17 in change. I patiently waited to let her know, told her, and received attitude for it. She took the money slapped it down on her side, said sorry, and rudely said she’d be right back. When she came back she quickly counted out the $4 and walked away. No thank you, no smile, just attitude.
