Food was great. Service was good. I ordered the Loaded Nachos and was impressed! Wife ordered the chicken sandwich and wished she ordered something else. Guy playing guitar was pretty good. I love live music, but didn’t expect to hear it at noon. Cool! We’ll be back!

We ended up at the Backwater Bar & Grill because the restaurant we were planning to visit was closed.

The indoor/outdoor bar and dining area were fantastic! We sat out by the river and enjoyed the cool evening with great drinks and food. Our table shared these delicious nachos as an appetizer. Other things ordered were the burgers, smothered chicken, BLT, and fiesta bowls. We all took home leftovers as rhe portions were big.

Backwater is a Hotel and restaurant. You can gain entrance through the hotel to the second floor our through the stair on the end . Sorry didn’t take pictures of my food had the steak bowl. Wife had the 12 pizza .

There’s a fun party deck here on the second level. I’m not sure the corn hole game helps the atmosphere. Our order got lost. The food was meh… and pricey for what you get. The waitress was pleasant. The best thing about this place is the view and atmosphere, other than the corn hole bags smacking every 5 seconds. I’d go back for a drink and finger food because of the view.

Overall, a good experience waiter was not super engaging. When I asked if there was any time of non alcoholic type mocktails, he could make said no, we dont have that kind of mix. He was not friendly and seemed put off by the request, so I just got a soda. He never asked if I wanted or needed a refill, but other bartenders around him seemed helpful and friendly.

Let me just start with they were busy. We ordered drinks , they took a long time to get. Ordered food and this also took a long time. When the food arrived, I was told they didn’t have the item I ordered, would like something else? I reordered something simple grilled cheese with bacon. When it arrived it was basically toast with cheese and bacon. It was only discounted 50%. Probably not going back.

Food was decent. Not much of a selection. Service to get refills of drinks was a bit slow. Wish they would be open later than 8 pm. So we could have played the games and hung out on the deck to relax. Very cool atmosphere.

First time back since it changed hands a few years ago. The decor has changed, but the food is still AMAZING, & Becky, our waitress, was equally amazing! The bluegill was perfect, and my wife’s sirloin steak was unbelievable. Definitely coming back!
