It is Friday night and you are so busy at your restaurant. We ordered and waited a bit, but the wait was worth it. Kuddos to all the employees that showed up and worked. Our food was great and the service was great. We had a group of 8. We love this bar/restaurant. Awesome job with being short staffed.

Well, not even sure what I can say. Waited over an hour and a half for our food. Was served our food by maybe a twelve year old. My food was cold. Waitress didn’t care. Was charged $2 for a to go container. Bill was taken back because we weren’t charged for our apps. It came back $48 higher. When we asked if the two appetizers were really $48 the owner screamed at us that we were rude. Should have horrible lives and needed to get the hell out of her bar and never come back again. Can’t leave zero stars.

Everything was very good. The busier it gets the longer it takes to get your food. Other then the longer then normal food wait it was a great place. Service was great. Bartenders are friendly even has a pool table.

The food was decent. The prices were okay but the portions were larger than expected. The service was good considering how short staffed they are. There is one person working in the kitchen and one person out front. The poor girl out front had to be the bartender and the waitress. I have to give her credit. There were 35 people there when we were there and she was able to keep up with every one at the bar and everyone seated all by herself.

First visit on our way from the Northwoods – easy to find off of I39 – exit 163 at Casimir Rd, Right on N 2nd St – just a minute down the road. First visit – I tried the 3 piece cod – Friday Fish Fry – I liked the fish and I like when a place offers their fish fry throughout the day. I had the waffle fries (which were a little cold when served but I didn’t have time to send them back, which I’m sure they would have easily accommodated), she tried the shrimp dinner – they were delicious. The hit of the visit was the corn nuggets – if you like corn nuggets – you need to stop at Backwoods Bar & Grill and give them a try. Good first vist, we’ll definitely stop again. Enjoy, we did.
