A nice restaurant that’s right in “the backyard” of the Sole East resort. Indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by lots of greenery, very nice setting. The menu is small but the food comes out really well prepared and tasty. There’s also a small bar for cocktails and beer.

I wish I had read all the reviews before coming. It pretends to be a high end Montauk restaurant but the food quality is not good. For example, the clam chowder was watered down with few clams, the fluke crudo was tasteless, the hummus on the Mediterranean plate was terrible, the jalapeño in the cocktail had no kick. This chef needs to step up his game if he wants to compete at this price point in the Hamptons.

Service was horrendous. We show up to the restaurant around 8 to have a drink and dessert outside. The first server pretty much dismisses us and says that there are no tables. We ask a second server if we could put our name down, she says yes but not until 9:15pm. Ok. We show up at 9:15pm, still no table outside for us and we are seated inside because we do not want to wait longer. The table was dirty and no one came to take our order. We’re upset. We decide to go back outside and no one assists us so we decide to leave both disappointed and frustrated from the lack of attention of the staff. As we’re leaving, a waiter runs after us saying there is a table, but at this point we’re not in the mood. The evening was ruined by rude staff and poor service. That’s not what we should be experiencing during a vacation. The next morning, I go down to the restaurant, the staff there is impolite and again, service is so poor. And a simple coffee is $7. Don’t go to this restaurant.
