If you have hungry little buckaroo’s be sure to stop at Badlands Pizza! We ordered 3 kids pizzas during our road trip and a large Pizza for the adults thinking the kids pizzas would be maybe 6 inches. When they arrived they were 10-12 inches! We could easily have ordered less but were pleasantly surprised the size for the cost. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread and they were a cheese filled garlic breadsticks that everyone enjoyed! The only negative about our experience was that it was incredibly loud as it is one big room so conversation was hard and then when trying to leave it took an especially long time to just get the bill and a box even though it wasn’t very busy. Overall we would definitely come back and maybe take advantage of their order ahead or grab and go area!

We stopped for lunch here while visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The place has a big sitting area. It was crowded and noisy but that’s expected considering it was lunch time. We ordered chicken wings, waffle fries and 1 large pizza. The pizza taste was average. We ordered half n half pizza with 1 side cheese and other with 2 toppings. I don’t know why they were skimpy with the toppings. Out of the 4 slices, 2 had very little toppings as if it was free. I must have paid atleast $1 to $2 each.

Very poor customer service. I arrived as a party of one and was taken to be seated at a table. I asked could I be seated at a booth instead. The waitress said no that those are for parties of three or more people. The waitress then said she could ask her supervisor if she could seat me at a booth. The waitress then went and asked her supervisor would it be okay to seat me at a booth and upon the waitresses return she said her supervisor said no I could not be seated at a booth. I counted three open booths at that moment and there were no other parties waiting to be seated, so it didn’t seem like an unreasonable request. One would think a restaurant would attempt to provide the utmost customer service, especially when it is something as simple as a booth versus a table. I have never had a restaurant experience where I was told I couldn’t sit at a particular table, that is unless a reservation had been made.

Pizza is overly cheesy, cheddar and mozzarella with not much flavor. . Rust is like a frozen product. Mushrooms and roasted peppers were bland .

Very noisy here due to cement floors and loud noise when chairs and tables were moved. Made the wait awful as well as couldn’t wait to get outside. They were very busy. Is a popular place pizza was good.

Very delicious pizza, we’ve had the Jean’s veggie and we loved it. Great customer service and friendly staff, only reason I didn’t give it 5 states was the flys…. I mean they were a lot of them we had to switch seats two times. But above all nice location to eat after a night of musical and late night drinking.

From the time we sat down, to the time we got our pizza was a little over an hour. Our server was completely inept. Our whole experience was irritating to say the least. We were lucky that we were seated approximately 5:15 but we didn’t leave the joint until a little before 7. Totally unacceptable.

Stopped here for a great lunch , pizza was fantastic & the service was good despite them being busy , maybe a 20 min wait between being seated & enjoying our pizza. Only negative was the chairs were small and a little uncomfortable for a large guy like myself.
