I suppose having someone set high expectations is a two edged sword. We drove an hour to get here. Parking is a *itch.

The food was filling but felt like it was enough for 2 meals. The taste was strictly okay and nothing out of the ordinary. It is expensive for the quality of food served. The poutine and fried chicken had too much chaat masala making it too salty. The mango lassi though was good and not too sweet

Badmaash is a surprisingly small Indian restaurant compared to the hype I’ve seen of it on social media. The food was alright, but definitely not worth the price here unfortunately. I tried the onion pakora which was crispy and super tasty. The dahi puri (‘yogurt puffs’) were unfortunately very small but full of dahi and well made. The butter paneer was good, however a bit too salty/strong. The chilli cheese naan was excellent, I would highly recommend it!! Lastly the rosemary naan was also a bit too strong in flavor. Overall, I do feel that this restaurant is a bit overpriced and not worth it.

If you’re craving authentic taste then that’s not the best place. Service is not the best either.

I’m offended at myself that I haven’t been here in all my times in LA. This place is a cornucopia of flavors that magnificently fuses flavors in your mouth.

Indian gastropub restaurant that serves street eats, burgers & beers amid high ceilings & marble-topped counters. We visited this place back in December of 2018 and absolutely loved the ambience and the food. The drinks were also great.

Overrated. For fusion food this was ok but wouldn’t go if looking for Indian food.

I had a lengthy layover at the LA airport. I rented a car to find and eat at Badmaash, on Fairfax Ave. It is a satisfying mix of truly authentic Indian food with additional creative house favorites on the menu!

Would give this place a 3.5/5 stars. The ice tea tasted like plain water. I mentioned to the waiter and they brought back a replacement which tasted like water again. The chicken tikka poutine was the only item worth ordering. The other items I feel were overpriced and lacking is taste at times. A but underwhelmed.

Really good. Some of the food was a little over the top but really enjoyed the samosas and the chicken tikka. The ice cream sandwiches were also great (but really how could you f that up?) I also really enjoyed the wine selection
