We made a special effort to visit for lunch as we had stopped by previously only to find out they didn’t serve food every day of the week. BBQ is our favorite type of food, and we were excited to have a new option in the area. I ordered the brisket nachos, and my husband ordered the chicken tacos with baked beans. The tacos had good flavor but were dripping with moisture which saturated the flour tortillas. The beans had good flavor as well. The nachos were made with cheap corn tortilla chips and orange nacho cheese sauce like the kind you get at a carnival concession stand. The brisket and bbq sauce were decent but nothing special. Definitely not worth the $14.99 price. We didn’t have ice cream this time but did on a previous visit, and it was delicious. Servings are way too large maybe to justify the $6 minimum price. We appreciate that they are offering gluten and dairy free options for those of us who need that. So our advise is to go for the ice cream and skip the food. We really wanted to be fans.

Food is great, especially the chicken and the mac and cheese. Nacho portions are HUGE and well-assembled. There are some opportunities, like offering their tasty cole slaw as a sandwich topping, and offering to put the sauce right on the meat, etc. Some items require a wait time if they ran out and need to cook more, which happens at some restaurants of course, but it’s useful to be prepared here if you plan to grab and run. Some prices seem right for the market, others seem high…three chicken tacos for almost $4/each ($11.49, so $3.83 per taco, which is $0.17 less than the single taco price of $4) with the most basic tortilla and quantity of what’s inside seems high. We had items removed from ours to simplify them for our son but even with the missing items it seems like they should be closer to $3.50 each single, $3.26 each for a three pack ($9.79 total for 3) or they need to offer a side at the current prices or have some amazing salsa on the side or something to bring up that value. The Bull is the 3rd most expensive sandwich out of 7, and didn’t seem like it should go for $14.49. It’s dry brisket on what seems like a regular Aunt Millie’s style bun, and you get one of three BBQ sauces on the side, and one side dish (I think its a 3.5 oz side cup.) No cheese, no other toppings. The Hot Chick is downright amazing, excellent sandwich (their chicken really shines as their best meat IMO, it’s pretty zesty but both my kids loved it and I got to try and it was excellent.)

Great ice cream! & Good sized selection. They have ice cream flights!! With 4 large scoops of any ice creams you’d like! Cute little ice cream place. Also is a BBQ place but we didn’t get food. Has a nice seating area outside & inside and a grassy area.

Great place. Atmosphere is good, servers are always awesome. Even when it looks really busy it generally is not a super long wait. There are options for those that are lactose intolerant.

We first visited Baileys last summer and we discovered it is one of Lapeer Countys little gems. BBQ, ice cream, flowers. There’s often a line but the staff really keeps things moving at a good pace and everyone has always been friendly! So many ice cream options including gluten-free and if you really can’t decide, order a flight! The scoops are generous and there are plenty of other ways to order up your ice cream! They have pies and cookies and waffle cones too!
