Went here for the first time with my daughter this evening and we were immediately greeted with a smile by a friendly employee. We ordered the grilled mahi mahi tacos and beer battered fish tacos. She grilled the mahi and battered and fried the fish right in front of us. The tacos were so flavorful, fresh, and delicious!

Carnitas burrito, fresh made sofritas, the salsa is fresh fire roasted. Agua frescas and Horchata. Complimentary chips. Reasonable prices (less than other local places). Best burrito in Redding….so far 🙂

Many friends of mine as well as myself have frequented this place for almost two years. It is unfortunate that we have witnessed it’s fall from the top. The burrito, its staple food, has taken a nosedive in quality and quantity. No longer are you getting a steal at $10. The new hires have cut the burrito fillings in half, and do not provide the complementary chips and salsa unless you ask. The final product contains uncooked rice, funky tasting meat, and makes for an overall less than satisfying experience. I hope they can come back to their previous glory, but the odds are looking very slim. I recommend avoiding this establishment for the foreseeable future, as there are much better Mexican restaurants in town that provide better quality and quantity at the same or lower price.
