I love that I can request specifically what I do and don’t want, and the portions are pretty large. Very valuable to me to have a salsa bar – knowing the ingredients is important to me as well. It’s my husband’s favorite restaurant and the very first place we went to eat after flying to Portland from Alaska. We will make many happy returns!

We came in late for dine-in Dec 27 ’22. I ordered a poblano burrito with chicken. It was fat and also full of delicious juicy peppers and onions and very generous amount of sliced ripe avocado. I definitely didn’t leave hungry. The salsa bar also had a lot of variety making the food way higher quality than you’d expect. The staff was very obliging and hard working also. I’d go back.

Ordered online and went to pick it up in store ourselves. Arrived at 6:42pm (order was scheduled to be ready at 6:46pm). My husband went into the store (I was in the car) and was told there was no order. He came out and we checked the order receipt email and confirmed we were at the correct adddress before heading back inside. The cashier wasn’t able to help so he referred it to the manager on duty. The manager says she doesn’t speak English. My husband had to inform her that she does because he overheard her speaking it to one of the employees (YES, REALLY!!!). She then says the order was made and was picked up already. We had no order and we never sent anyone to pick it up. She continued to argue and refused to replace the order. A lot of back and forth arguing went on for about 5 minutes. Eventually .. begrudgingly .. the manager agreed to make the order while we waited. He was handed the order with a side of attitude. This isn’t our fault. The fault lies with the manager on duty. The situation should have been resolved quickly and without argument. The original order should have been verified with an email receipt or something to make sure it went to the correct person. They weren’t busy so it could have been checked. We are frequent Baja Fresh customers (usually to a different location) and have never had a situation even sort of like this anywhere. We will NEVER visit this location again. The manager on duty needs to be fired or at the very least taught how to handle situations like this and to NEVER EVER use the “I don’t speak English” phrase ever ever ever again as a MANAGER of Baja Fresh.

This is the first Baja Fresh I’ve ever been to. The employee was very nice and explained to me how things worked there. Definitely my favorite fast Mexican place between this, Qdoba and Chipotle. I love the fact that there is an unlimited salsa bar and small free chips with your order. The store was also pretty clean. Would recommend!

Picked up my order in a plastic bag tied closed. 8/25/22 1700. Got home and there was no salsas. Went back and was told for door dash they add the salsas. For Google orders they don’t and want the customer to grab it themselves. This was not indicated anywhere. I added the salsas when ordering online. Seemed like lazyness from employees.

When it comes to “fast” burrito type places, Baja Fresh is typically high on my list. However, this location in particular stands out. Service is always friendly and above expectations. The food is always tasty and well made. When I’m feeling like a burrito, I tend to go out of my way to hit this particular establishment.
