Love this ppace too bad there aren’t many left on Long Island how did they used to be all over the place. I like going here a little bit better than I like going to Moe’s I think the food is a little bit fresher and a bigger choice of items not just burritos

This place is always delicious. They’ve changed their guacamole recipe a couple times, but it’s always been good. I see it as a mark of trying to improve. The food is fresh, and a simple rice and beans plate can fill you up. There are always new items to try, and they go beyond the usual meats. Sometimes there’s a lobster item, or a different set of toppings.

Alternative to a fast food burger joint, this place has very fresh (hence the name,) ingredients. You can get burritos, bowls, tacos, salads, all for a decent price. The chips and (mango) salsa are really good too. Staff could be a little friendlier sometimes, but what can we do?

We got some catered food here to go with a chili I made. A fantastic salad that was made exactly as I requested. One of the ingredients in the salad was shrimp and they were excellent. Also plenty of them in the salad! The food was ready on time. Everything really is FRESH.

The nachos were good, but the store is not clean at all. There are many fruit flies especially near the salsa. I would not recommend anyone to eat here, the only reason I gave it one star is because you cannot give anything lower.

My chicken bean & rice Burrito was very good. The taco my friend ordered without onions and peppers but it came with it. When they remade it there was still onions. The kids cheese quesdillla wrap was not that good taste wise. My friends daughter did not eat it. This place is clean and the staff is friendly. The bathroom is also clean.

The food is tasty and not greasy. Cooked well and lots of flavor. Definitely a better option than Chipotle and even bests more than a few taco shops. The only decent burrito I’ve had out here in NY which is sad, but true. Love me some Baja Fresh!

Spent 40 dollars for my family here at this location and three burritos were stuffed with burnt beans and rice, I barely got any meat in any of these burritos, and the salad shrimp were no good. I thought this was suppose to be a great restaurant but I was terribly wrong. I don’t normally give bad reviews for restaurants or fast food places but I am really upset I wasted my money here to get burritos filled only with burnt rice And beans. Don’t go here. I am throughly disappointed in the lack of care at Baja Fresh in New Hyde park. They were extremely rude and acted as though they were too good for anyone’s money. Mind you it was almost empty in there. The cashier was rude and after the order was placed it came out wrong. I made them aware and I was blamed for the mistake even though it was clearly stated. Baja Fresh has fresh food but a STALE STAFF!
