Exceeded expectations. Quality and fresh ingredients cooked directly to order with texture and bright colors. It’s not just rice and beans, but rice and beans done right with unique additions and flavors added in. Would’ve liked more shrimp per order but the whole plate is a step, if not two, beyond typical flavors in this cuisine! Looking forward to trying more of their wide variety in the future.

Great ambiance, but the food is very lacks flavor. Interestingly, at 2pm on a weekday there were no customers in the restaurant. Normally in DC a place would have a line or at least people sitting at the tables.
