My wind-sisters and I rode our bikes out here for early morning breakfast. We got there when they opened b4 it got busy, so that we could get back out before the 108 degrees catches up with us! Both food and service were good. My friend was very impressed with her Migas( next time i will order that, as my bacon omelet was very dry, overstuffed w/chopped “overcooked” bacon, no cheese inside, and hardly any on top.I couldn’t eat it w/o lots of salsa to give it some moisture-see pic). No time to return it as we were on a road adventure. The other two gals enjoyed their meal. OJ was served in large tea glass, so that was a plus! Attentive waitress. Nice deck outside w/view. Clean restaurant/restrooms. Will come back.

I don’t know ‍♀️ why peeps haven’t given great reviews on Baja La Luna, but omg! Overly impressed and I’m a picky eater and I make some awesome homemade Mexican food and homemade tortillas! We got their micheladas with Dos, best I’ve ever had! Enchiladas and sauce amazing, rice and beans – top notch! Salsa and jalapeño ranch and chips – fresh! Owner is so nice, and I even helped them out by walking up to bar and grabbing our beer because it’s family owned and they are busy, doesn’t mean it’s poor service-just means I’m from west texas and I grab what I need. Lol

Tried this local restaurant in JT. Food and service are good. Love the chips and salsa. Having live music on Friday, that was a treat.

Dawn was our server. She is amazing and shiny. Margarita’s are tops, food also delicious. Prices could be higher but we appreciate the great deal. Thanks Dawn!

Beef fajitas are so good. The frozen margaritas are tasty and refreshing after a lake day. I would give 5 stars, but I’ve gotten this delivered a few times and always ask for salsa, but never get it.

This was so good! The food was delicious!!! The service was speedy and so courteous. Highly recommend the bean and cheese nachos (very filling!) and loved the fish tacos. Their jalapeño ranch is excellent and is on par with another famous jalapeño creamy dip I love.

Tried breakfast here for the first time. Extremely disappointed. I ordered the regular breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, beans, and 2 tortillas. I also ordered the waffle. I ordered eggs over easy. I was served eggs over super super hard. I tried to get the waitresses attention and after several attempts she finally acknowledged me and proceeded to communicate with me from across the restaurant instead of coming to my table. There was only one other table at the time. So I held my egg in the air and shouted across the restaurant that I ordered over easy but was served over hard. That’s when she fInally walked over. I repeated the info in a regular volume since she finally decided to communicate at the table. I said. I ordered over easy but these are over hard and she responded with….” I know”. Well, if you knew…why did you serve them? Weird. She took just the eggs (star of the breakfast in my opinion) and just left the rest of the plate. When the new eggs arrived, the rest of the food on my plate was cold. The waffle wasn’t edible. After I explained that the food was really bad, she offered to get the manager and see if I could get a discount. The manager came out of kitchen, did something on the POS machine and went right back in the kitchen. Never once came to communicate with us. Very odd customer service. He removed one meal from the bill, but we had to pay for the rest of our uneaten food. We left there hungry and feeling VERY ripped off. Came home and cooked. Should’ve just done that to begin with. VERY DISAPPOINTED

First time here. Went with another couple. The place was fairly busy. Loud but festive atmosphere with live music and very close quarters. So loud I could not converse with our friends, and it was hot inside the restaurant, seemed like no AC. I was very uncomfortable. Service was excellent, though. This was not my kind of TexMex fare. I ordered a beef fajita burrito plate with rice and charro beans. They offer several types of sauce toppings, green, red, cheese, etc. The rice and charro beans were excellent, perfectly seasoned with traditional Mexican spices. Charro beans vary from place to place. This was the mild variety. I prefer them a bit spicy with jalapeno. But they were very good nonetheless. That was the end of my enjoyment. The beef fajita burrito had very little beef. It was basically a huge flour tortilla roll. Not worth the $15.50 price tag. I asked for TexMex sauce on the side and I’m glad I did. The sauce was basically chili powder moistened with watered down tomato sauce, gritty chili powder paste. Sorry, it was horrible. TexMex sauce is supposed to be creamy and brown, not pure red chili powder. I picked out the few strips of beef and left the rest, 95 percent of the burrito was tortilla. My bill was also incorrect. Didn’t realize until we were long gone. Charged for a couple of items I didn’t order. One last thing, their chips and salsa were very good, not too spicy. But the kicker was their jalapeno ranch dip, to die for. If I ever go back it will be to purchase that dip!
