Food used to be good. 4 items, everything overly salted and to be honest, disgusting. Freezer burned wings, curds that didn’t taste like cheese just garlic salt, onion rings; didn’t even taste like onions (mushy onion, with mushy breading that tasted freezer burnt). Well I was pretty sure I would not be staying when my husband opens the door for me to go inside. I was so pleasantly surprised though. The lighting is good, the space is good and clean and seating was not the least bit crowded. We were greeted by the bar tender/waiter. He was very friendly and attentive. Cocktail was delightful and the burger was great. We will be going back. Did I mention the onion rings? Yum

So I have been a patron for some time and things are just not the same I was in so many ways frowned upon for assuming business was a usual ask for a burger no modifications came out bread and patty ask for onion tomato and lettuce an received grilled onions and tomato with spring mix. When ask why? ” I think it’s better that way. If you want something a certain way you have to say it” like excuse me when did I say grilled onions, then asked for a burger skewer and received a chopstick. Bring back the old staff. (Atleast people who actually give a rats behind about patronage. Because frankly it affects your earnings)

So this is a dirty dive bar but it is all in all a good place. You wouldn’t expect the food to be so good from the looks of the place. Great burgers and best fish fry I’ve ever had. Mostly all great bartenders.

From the outside it looks like a rustic old liquor store. Inside it’s nice and clean pool table great beer selection and best of all the burgers! I had the blue cheese stuffed burger and it was great. Crispy slight char on the outside and so juicy and moist on the inside. Raw onions lettuce drizzle blue cheese on top of it stuffed with blue cheese. I ate the whole burger without putting it down once. A $2 labatt’s blue and a great hamburger. I will be back as soon as possible. I also had the chicken and wild rice soup which was great as well. Everything was warm very well cooked and the service was fantastic from the bartender with one arm. Ask for the one-armed bartender. They’ll know what you’re talking about. I’m here for another month and I will at least go back five times

Baldwin Street Grille has all the makings of a classic neighborhood bar with the added bonus of friendly staff, and great food. I stopped by for brunch, and ordered the Egg’s Benedict with the Potato of the day ( Curry Potatoes ) and fruit. The Egg’s Benedict was cooked fresh and arrived hot with good flavor. The fruit was fresh, and the Curry Potatoes were also stand out as they arrived hot without being over cooked with a great balance of curry spice. Great brunch at a great price.
