Great great spot to stop by for Breakfast or lunch. Staff was amazingly friendly and motivated to serve 6 hungry people after driving for hours. The menu had many options and for a very reasonable price. The owner was walking around and greeted us to a smile and a nice chat. Will be returning here in the near future for a good American Texas meal.

Their newer location here seems to have a higher average score on reviews, and this is the one I usually go to. When it comes to the quantity and quality of the food for the price that you pay, this is one of the best values in our area. I almost always get the steak omelet with homefries and pancakes. You can upgrade the pancakes depending on what’s available at that time. I’ve had their hashbrowns once, and they were good, but this place has the best homefries that I’ve had, maybe ever.

We recently moved to Stockdale so we are trying everything! We love having weekend breakfasts out of the home and we always pass by Baldy’s. We stopped in for breakfast and it was EXCELLENT! Felt like good ole’ home cooking. Large portions so come hungry and early to beat the rush. The staff is super friendly, patient and efficient. This is absolutely one of our “go to” stops for food!

Husband and drove out to LaVsrnia today to try this place! It was worth the drive! Hubby had the big nasty and I had love and Onions. Not.only the food very good and well seasoned, they had decent portions and good prices. We will definatly be back! Also, out waitress did a great job! This is a winner!

Place is a mess. Tables covered in trash and dirty plates. Waitress ignored my mother and I. Sat a family down, took drink orders and took food order while we were waiting for over 20 minutes. I had to grab another waitress and asked who are waitress was. She was unsmiling, no apology for the wait. Looks like she has no idea what she is doing. Kicks around napkins that are on the floor. Stacks a few plates from a table that needs cleaning and then walks away. A table only gets cleaned when they need one.

We love Baldy’s! Our littles always gobble up their food and feel like royalty with the kind wait staff. And I love that they have such great kids breakfast options. My husband and I love the omelets and home fries are delicious. It’s a fav for breakfast!
