Delicious Bosnian food. Was driving through for a work trip, and very happy we stopped there. Cevapi is amazing! They ran out of meat burak, but got to try the cheese burak, and it was great. Highly recommend the peach nectar drink too!

The wife and I made a day trip to Waterloo and as always we were looking to eat at local restaurants. We tried the Balkan Café and it was very enjoyable. The food was very inexpensive for the quality and and quantity, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to folks unfamiliar with Balkan food. We even had an informative and interesting conversation about how the owners got to Waterloo. We ordered way too much food, but had great snacks on the way back. A nice litte store too, and we picked up several soups and other goodies to take back with us. If I ever go back to Waterloo again I will certainly eat there again.
