The food here was outstanding. For just a few dollars, you get a basket full of fried mushrooms. Those mushrooms were so good. Excellent value. I would have expected it to cost a lot more with the portion they gave us. I ordered the hamburger steak with onions with seasoned vegetables and mashed potatoes and gravy. Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!! My friend had a fish sandwich and she praised the taste as excellent. She almost couldn’t eat it all, and I did have to get a ‘to go’ box. Fixing to have left overs right now.

Super local breakfast this morning in this place that was filling up with people who live here in Georgetown. I an inexpensive breakfast, served by a friendly young lady with a smile. Excellent coffee, eggs, corned beef hash and toast. Perfect. And after breakfast, this was my office for an hour or two until the Sun came up. No bother and it was nice to see the flow of folks coming in, greeting their neighbors and eating their breakfast.

We stop here every six weeks, and the food is always deliciously consistent! I’ve tried several menu items and have yet to find something that didn’t impress me. I’ve noticed that there are some locals that seem to be there every time we come, so it’s nice to see familiar faces.

Good home cooked food…all from scratch…great service true southern fare. Deserts are made the same …from scratch amazing cakes and pies! So goooood! Very reasonably priced.

This was a wonderful meal. One of us had fried chicken and the other fried shrimp. They were both served piping hot and so crispy. A lot of the people were locals and called by name. We don’t live real close but when we are in that area we will for sure go back there to eat!!
