The absolute best BBQ in Southern Delaware. Conveniently located on the side of Route 1 N in the Forgotten Mile area of Rehoboth, Mikes food is nothing short of AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and go check out what the Smokemaster Mike D has cooking. Ask about the off menu specials!!

Found this gem on a random. Drove from Ellendale to the forgotten mile in Sunday beach traffic and it was worth it. We ordered a pulled pork platter and a chicken platter. All the meat was very flavorful and smoked to perfection. The baked beans had a slight heat to them but they were perfect! The coleslaw was Not a pile of sloppy mess. It was big and chunky and had a really nice flavor with some salt and pepper. The watermelon and cucumber salad…. well let’s just say I’ve never had anything like it and I will be requesting they always have it. Customer service is the best at the beach. The owner Big Mike is the friendliest guy I have ever met. He pays attention to all customers and treats everyone like they are a long lost friend and doesn’t miss a beat. He welcomes all guests as they approach and let’s them know he is glad they are there even when helping other guests. Portions are BIG!!!! 2 platters fed 3 people. *2 eat like birds* we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The owner was there running it by him self today but is usually accompanied by his family. If you want to support local go out Thursday- Sunday. Get there early if you want it for dinner and heat it up later. He runs out fairly quick.
