We enjoyed our time having dinner at Balqees restaurant. The food was so delicious and beautifully served. The owner, Anis, was so friendly, generous, and kind. He welcomed us with outstanding hospitality and explained to us the varieties of meals they serve. My family loved the food we had and the time we spent in the restaurant.

I tried out Balqees Restaurant for the first time yesterday because I wanted to try a new Yemeni food restaurant. I’m a big fan of Yemeni cuisine and I always like supporting Yemeni restaurants. I went there with my family, but our first impression wasn’t so great. We had to seat ourselves because the waitress was busy chatting with another person behind the cashier’s register.

II liked the flavors of the food and the hot bread! Sampled the lamb broth soup and it was nice! I got the chicken and my friend got the shredded bubbling hot lamb. Both tasty! Need to come back to try other dishes for sure! Servers were pleasant and answered any questions about the Yemen culture as it was my first time eating Yemeni food! I liked it here!

This was honestly the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food was delicious and the employees were very lovely people. 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting or just as fast food, they will not disappoint you because they’ll bring your food out quick. There’s even a really nice employee that works there, a girl, for the few times I’ve gone I’ve seen her work the hardest and I’ve even talked to her a few times and she always treated me with a smile. Anyways I would rate this more than five stars if I could but I can’t sadly so please if you come by try their food and thank their hard working team.

This is my first time in this place, and I’m very happy and delighted to say the food was really delicious and amazing, the waitress Janna was super courteous and great customer service. I got the Combo meal for two and it came with Haneeth with rice, Lamb Masloga, Fahsa, salad, two soup, two fresh out of the oven bread. I mean you have to try it to believe it. Luckily we were able to get food because they were soo packed that they ran out of food. Thank you for the great hospitality and food, will come again for sure inshaAllah!

We stopped here on Memorial Day when the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. We were happy with the accident. The food was delicious and flavorful. The staff was busy but tended to all our needs. I would highly recommend.
