The Soondubu (Korean spicy soft tofu stew) with beef was incredible. Tons of protein and awesome flavor. Just a little piece of heaven as you eat it with rice ♨️ The banchans (side dishes) were on point too. Kimchi and broccoli were fresh and good quality. Service was friendly, helpful, and the vibe here is chill. Parking was easily found across the street. Would love to explore more of the menu

I can’t believe it takes me this long to finally write a review for Bam Bam Kitchen since I have dined here uncountable times. This place is truly BAM! The food is delicious and makes the best soul food when it’s freezing outside. If you are in a rush, just order Ugeoji Galbi-Tang (rice is included), enjoy it, and thank me later. If you are in no rush, order more items from the menu. I promise you most of them are delicious. My personal favorites are Gimmari, LA Galbi Tang (expensive but highly recommend), fried rice, and any of the soups.

I’m Korean and I came here because I missed the food I used to eat. Soft tofu stew was little different from what I used to eat in Korea, but it looked just different style and not an Americanized food. And it was still very delicious and fresh. Chicken was also delicious but a bit soggy. But I still recommend both and I’d like to visit again. I can say the foods are real Korean style in delicious way, not Americanized. And most of all, I liked the music here. All the music was my taste! Not just K pop, but there were many different kinds of nice Korean music. And the server was kind and gentle !

New go-to Korean spot! Came here on a Tuesday night around 6 to dine in and I was very impressed with the food and service. The portions were great and the flavors were delicious! We got the kimchi fried rice with pork which was addictive! Also the vegetable jeon was amazing! Doen-jang jjigae with mushrooms was so comforting and delicious and finally we got the house stir fry with chicken bulgogi which was sweet and umami at the same time. Definitely coming back to try more.

The customer service was amazing, my server was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. The soup was perfection; the meat fell off the bone and the daikon just melted. Absolutely will be back again.

First let me say that Korean food is my favorite cuisine even though I am African American. Secondly, I have eaten at numerous Korean restaurants prior to my dining experience at Bam Bam. The food at Bam Bam is hella good – AWESOME y’all! I ordered Seafood Pajeon 해물파전 as an appetizer which is my routine at every Korean restaurant. As you can see from my photo, it was a substantial portion and jam-packed with seafood and flavor. It was far better than what I’ve had some very popular Korean restaurants because it’s not overly greasy/oily and it doesn’t break if you eat it with you fingers. It has the perfect consistency for reheating leftovers in the airfryer or traditional oven – microwave not recommended. For my entre, I ordered and fell in LOVE with the spicy calamari stir fry. Most Korean restaurants Do Not offer this menu item. It was well worth my drive from DC to experience this dish. Not sure about reheating leftovers because squid easily becomes too chewy when overcooked. However, it arrived at my table sizzling and seasoned PERFECTLY and the calamari melted in my mouth. Sides that came with my oder included kimchi which was spiced for American palettes. I had a spicy tofu served cold which was okay and fish cakes with shredded onions, green & red peppers – it was served warm and DELICIOUS . The service was top notch and the atmosphere is simple aethetically sleek. I wish I could give Bam Bam 99 stars deducting only 1 star from a hundred because there’s

I went to Bam Bam when it was 105° outside. It was the only place I could find that served SamGyeTang, a young chicken and ginseng dish that is PERFECT to eat on a sweltering day. It’s tradition. You have to eat it on a day like today. And I’m so glad I did. Bam Bam did a great job; the chicken was soft and sweet, the ginseng had a nice heat, and the chicken-ginseng-jujube broth was divine.

I am very glad that I gave this restaurant a try. I went with a group of friends and everyone’s food was delicious. I would very much recommend the Korean stir fry dish. It was so good! Two of my friends enjoyed the Kimchi fried rice as well. The atmosphere was nice too. If you are in the area and are looking to try something new, then stop in here.

I am completely exhausted after eating at this establishment. My two friends and I came and we ordered to share: pork katsu, chicken fried rice, ribeye bulgogi, and chicken wings. I don’t think anyone spoke for a solid ten minutes because we were all stuffing our faces so happily and thoroughly. When we came up for air, we were able to acknowledge that this was some of the best Korean food—no, some of the best food overall, we’ve ever had. Wow. All this because we were craving wings. Wow.

My husband and I ordered more than we could finish partly because we wanted to try so many dishes. Everything was delicious! Our appetizers of the seafood pancake (pajeon) and the cheese tteobokki were definitely both big enough to share with a table of 4-6 people. Every bite of the pajeon had seafood in it. The cheese tteobokki was a little spicy, as it should be, and so addictive to eat. We also ordered soft tofu soup with added beef rib eye and honey pork which were also very delicious too. They do not skimp out on ingredients at all. Definitely will eat here again and try out more of their dishes. Also, service was great and street parking is not hard to find nearby.
