I had the brisket plate, my daughter got ribs and my husband had the loaded potato. We definitely enjoyed it not to mention we was full and still had food to take home. If you haven’t been here I highly recommend.

A couple guys and myself from work came here during a dinner break, and all 3 of us were very much impressed. The service was right on, quality of the food was spot on, it was all done in a timely manner, the amount of food you get was great! I have been looking for a really good BBQ joint and I found the best in South Bama. Pork sandwich plate and added a jalapeño and cheese sausage on the side with Okra and onion rings. Again, fine job!!!

We’ve lived on the parkway since before Bama Bob’s opened, but my wife and I have been on weight loss journeys for several years so we’ve never had the chance to try it. We have supported Bama Bob and crew from the sidelines by always voting for them in the annual Nappies, but finally yesterday after work we decided to stop by and get some food as one of our “cheats”. We bought a pound of pulled pork, and on the recommendation of the server, we shared a cup of baked beans. Let me tell you, the pork was some of the most flavorful smoked pulled pork I’ve ever had. Not only did it have a great smoked taste, it had the perfect level of saltiness, something that is usually missing from pulled pork. My wife, who normally opts for ribs or brisket, said it was the best pulled pork she’s ever eaten. The sauce was sweet and delicious as well, and the beans were also good. I liked that the beans were unique compared to other bbq places…almost like a chili bean. We can’t wait to come back soon and try the brisket! Amazing food!

The people were great. Friendly, quick service. Did not care for the food. Slaw, baked beans, and greens are not good. Sauce is not good. Thick and sweet. My sandwich was soaked in the sauce, the bun was soaked.

I’ve gotta say without a doubt, this is the BEST bbq I’ve come across here in the South, since I moved here from Arizona. The meats are smoky and moist,. The sides are flavorful and the banana pudding….is to die for! I’ve found my new favorite eating spot! Don’t pass this place up!

This place is my favorite BBQ restaurant! I most often get their brisket sandwich with loaded fries. I’ve never have I ever had any problems with any of the staff. Everyone is VERY polite, kind, and courteous. I come for the BBQ and enjoy the staff. This place is a bit off the beaten path but worth 6 minutes from I-10 drive. No I don’t know the owner or ever worked there. I just love good food, and that can be hard to find lately.
