What a great culinary experience! Enjoyed every meal and the service was so helpful and attentive! I had the nigiri chefs selection, uni, fried chicken karaage and spicy edamame as well as the macha panna cotta.

The best sushi I’ve had in Portland. There are some excellent vegetarian options for signature and traditional rolls. The green machine is my personal favorite- it’s unexpected and so tasty. Also ordered the avocado crispy rice, cauliflower starter, and edamame. Everything we had was wonderful!

By far the best sushi dining experience I’ve ever had. Even with my shellfish allergy, the staff was super accommodating and careful to make sure I could enjoy my meal, worry free. Big shoutout to Austin, our server – his service was top-notch, he knew the menu well and made our time there even better. It is obvious he loves his job and is proud to work there (as he should be)!

High quality and delicious sushi, hand rolls, and crispy karaage. Definitely recommend the karaage and edamame, both were amazing. We came for happy hour and had great service from our server (Sarah, I think? Thanks!) Happy hour prices were great and the interior design is very nice. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying some more entree’s.

Fantastic! The Green Machine Roll seemed kinda simple but it was my favorite. It got pretty busy around 6:00, even on a Tuesday, so make reservations.

I’d like to start off by saying Bamboo Sushi has excellent food, their sushi is high quality and delicious. The issues arrive when it comes to their service. My group and I reserved a table for 5 at 6:30, when we arrived we still waited almost 30 minutes to be seated while other people walked in and were seated almost immediately.

This used to be a nice go to spot for a classy fresh dinner to bring friends and family. However the quality of some of the dishes for example the crab and the tempura has decreased noticeably. The service has also gotten less professional making people wait and telling us an another customer that despite having a reservation a table wasn’t available when we arrived. The price has also gone up twice since we have gone which wouldn’t be a problem if the service and food had kept up. Sadly this was my go to sushi place (I live in the neighborhood) but I will be going to mio sushi just around the corner from now on. Ironically bamboo’s best dish is their burger.

One of the best places to have fresh sushi and great sake! Ambiance was so cool that you wanna spent more time there. Fish were so fresh and tender and sushi’s rice well cooked but little salty! Also we had a really nice and delicious sake. I give them 4.5 ⭐️
