The food was very good. The Nehari seemed a little under seasoned but that is a subjective thing. You’ll have to try it yourself to make that call. The kebab Roll was delicious! So much so, that I forgot to take a picture for the review! The biryani was very good too! The last thing I got was some Naan bread. Personally, it was too thick. Kind of reminded me of Shermaal. I usually prefer thinner naan.

It was my first time here. They were really nice and the place appeared to be family owned. There was limited seating and no obvious bathrooms. I tried their most popular dish, the Chicken Biryani (~$9). It was very good! It was quite spicy, but I would say that being a Japanese American, my tastebuds prefer a more mild flavor. I tried my friend’s Chicken Karahi (~$9) and that also was very yummy! It was even spicier and went well with the Naan bread (~$2). It was a great first experience to Pakistani/Indian cuisine! If nearby, will come again!

I specifically instructed them the chicken roll should not be spicy at all. They had the audacity to put red chilli sauce in the roll. How hard is to follow such a simple request !! I wish there was a better place to complain and be heard !!

Fantastic. My wife and I stopped in on our way through the area, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food is delicious, just delicious. I had the chicken korma which was spicy enough to make your nose run, but not too spicy for my medium-spicy palette. The flavor was huge and was on point. The chicken was quite fabulous, and falling off the bones. My wife had the chicken biryani, which is claimed to be the best in town, and we enjoyed it quite thoroughly. Not as sumptuous as the korma, but deeply flavorful and satisfying.

A caveat, this place is not the cleanest. I did not see the bathroom but the table needed a wipe. We had plasticware for eating, and metal for serving, no napkins until I walked up to the counter and grabbed my own from the paper towel roll next to the sink in the middle of the dining room that seats about 12. But at this price who cares? It was around $27 for three of us with tip, no drinks. The tandoori chicken and the masala rice was excellent. The yogurt condiment was great. My wife’s tilapia was way too fishy for my tastes, but I don’t buy fish outside of a fish restaurant. I’m not sure a lot of people would like the ambience as it is rustic at best but my food was really good. Also, the lady working here was really nice. I never saw a guy. There was no begging for tips.

Wanted simple home made food, didn’t know anything about Pakistani food in Chicago (visiting for a couple of days) googled Pakistani food and found this gem on my way to the hotel. Ordered over the phone and when we got there we were not impressed with the outlook. the place was not appealing. We met a very graceful lady there and it seemed like she was running the business. She cooked fresh food for us – home made roti , masoor daal, mixed vegetables and aloo palak. Mum and dad loved it, we all were longing for that kind of food for some time. 4 star only because of sitting area and the exterior of the restaurant (good thing is we didn’t dine-in )

Banda Nawaz always manages to give me great experience, be it the food, the staff or the ambience. Special mention for that guy who takes orders and gives discounts… he suggested us the best stuff on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our meal. Thank you for everything. keep doing what you are doing!!

I would leave zero stars if possible. I placed an order online at 645pm on Friday when they close at 8. I was charged but my order was refused. I called and was told that they closed early and therefore refused my order. I checked my CC account and was charged TWICE! And no food. If I can’t trust a business to honor their posted hours or their online ordering system, I certainly can’t trust them to eat there. They have lost my business for good. Now I have to fight a $50 charge and no food for me! Stay away.

I enjoyed their chicken biryani. I am very picky with places but my husband and I actually enjoyed this a lot. I have been here in the past, it was decent, but they have improved tremendously. The new management has done well for this place.

The chicken biryani was good, it had an authentic Pakistani taste. I wasn’t a fan of the mixed grill though, I wasn’t sure what type of meat that was. I don’t reccomend ordering through doordash because the prices are higher than the ones on their website.
