Cute place with great food. I got the Taco salad, delicious, while my friend got a giant burger! We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Service is good, just know you need to ask for the complimentary bread if you go for lunch, they automatically bring it when you go for dinner.

My family and I stopped by Bandits for dinner on 05/03/23 and naturally the food was tasty as always, but more importantly I wanted to highlight the service. Bandits has some of the most friendly and courteous servers, and our experience with Yevette that night supports that claim. Her demeanor was wonderful as she was great in her interaction with our child. She made thoughtful recommendations, and was just a really nice person. And I also wanted to give a shout out to Adam. Once they dropped the food off at the table, one plate was left behind in the kitchen, and Adam, who was walking by, was quick to notice something was off. He made contact to confirm, and went back to check on it immediately. I love the teamwork and cooperative atmosphere at Bandits. Couple that with an amazing kitchen and supportive staff and it’s no wonder why it is such a successful gem of a restaurant here in Thousand Oaks.

Busy place tucked back near the car wash off the main road. I didn’t know this place was here but my wiser half did. The house salad was awesome with thousand island dressing that tasted homemade. The garlic rolls were hot and not too garlicky. I got the full slab of baby back and Mac n cheese. Loved the Mac n cheese. Was hoping the rib meat would fall off the bone but it did not. Still tasty though. He got the trip tip and shrimp. The shrimp are grilled and he liked them. The onion ring side was bomb. Great service too.

This last visit. I was just picking up with doordash but they had the food ready and they were very polite and nice to me.I have eaten here many times in my life. The food is always amazing and every time you drive by it always smells amazing as well. Even if you’re just visiting 1000 oaks California you have to come by here. If you love barbecue you will never regret it.
