We got take out from here: the good fish, bang bang special, and New York special. They were all wonderfully flavored and spiced. As others have said, it’s a great addition to not only SH food scene but Tampa in general. Definitely unique and authentic Indian cuisine. Given that it is authentic, it definitely has some spice. Be sure to give it a try!

This is my second time eating here and I can guarantee this is the BEST Indian food I have ever had! I’m Indian and have not found more authentic or flavorful Indian food than this. We have tried the Veg(an), Bang Bang special, and NY special and they are all fantastic. Every ingredient in each bowl is so well spiced. They are very generous with portion sizes and the side sauces are unreal. Will be going back every week!!

I have visited this place 2-3 times now and this time. I am disappointed and disgusted I saw a huge insect in my food. This makes me think how unhygienic this place is. I used to love the fact that an Indian bowl place is own but this is really disappointing.

I feel so bad leaving this review because the owners are super nice and friendly. I met them the week this opened so they were even nice enough to throw in free nachos with this cheese/meat dip which tasted super good. But the main dish , the food we ordered didn’t meet my expectations. I tried calling to tell them this, the food was super plain even the sauce didn’t help much. I am Indian and I can confirm there was little to no Indian spices in these dishes. One large bowl costed $18, it had all fresh food but the seasoning they use needs a lot more flavor. I hope you work on the flavoring and find the right ratio, don’t be afraid to put spice into the food that’s what makes it taste good. I will be more than happy to take down this review once you improve your cooking. I even took super nice photos to leave a nice review but I can’t lie to people :/

I was really craving a healthy bowl. I came across this lovely place online. I decided to build my own spicy shrimp bowl. And when I tell you this food was SO GOOD! I mean it! Between the Indian spices and the healthy rich flavor. I was absolutely shocked. It was so flavorful. The customer service was immaculate. The woman at the counter was so nice and welcoming. She was playing some good r&b music. Which definitely set a vibe for me. I will be back to sit in with my bf. This place is a hidden GEM! As Keith Lee would say “9.5 out of 10”

I absolutely love the vibes of this place! From the food options to the service and the amount of food you get was amazing. I got the vegan bowl and it was super delicious. I was surprised it was vegan. Everything was super flavorful and rich. There are so many options in the bowl that compliment each other super well. 10/10 definitely coming back for more

Tried this place for the first time tonight (takeout, didn’t dine in) and am SO thrilled to have this new-ish addition to the neighborhood. My wife and I split the Bang Bang Bowl and the NY Special. Both were fantastic. Very flavorful, and unique in Tampa – I’m not aware of anywhere else with a similar menu. The price was also reasonable, especially for the portion size (very generous, and we only had the “regular” size), and especially considering both dishes had lamb. And perfectly cooked, tender, deliciously spiced lamb. Will definitely be back, and hope lots of other people go too so the place can stick around a long, long time!

Run by a young couple who moved here from Philadelphia. I thought the lamb bowl with Yellow rice was fabulous. Owners welcoming and eager to connect with the community. Imagine they will get a lot of take out ordering from USF and U Tampa. Spices were wonderful.
