Just moved back to the Mission and I’m so happy to be living by this place again. I’ve been eating the Bahn Mi here for over 10 years and they still rank as one of the best in the city. Sure, the price has gone up in 10 years, but so has everything. It’s still the best one I’ve found. Packed high with meat, perfect ratio of meat to veggies and they always seem to have some nice spicy jalapenos in there. Best bang for your buck and is usually good for 2 meals! On top of that, the owner is incredibly nice and she’s been part of the Mission community forever.

This is a pretty good and fresh banh mi! The pickled salad has the perfect flavoring and most importantly the bread is fresh and yummy. I got the pork BBQ and for $6, can you really go wrong. Make your way to the back of the grocery store and wait on line. There is always a line. But it moves fast.

(Warning: young adults from Central Florida in for vacation) Mission Banh Mi is INSIDE A SUPERMARKET with a few tables near the deli for eating. Although prices were higher than I’m used to, THESE BANH MI WERE STUFFED! AND SO FLAVORFUL TOO! With almost 10 choices (including a few vegetarian versions), I took the typical ‘cold cut’ version. The CUCUMBER, CARROTS, AND JALAPENOS WERE CRISP AND FRESH while this sweet, soy-like sauce tied all the flavors together. Meanwhile, the Grilled Pork banh mi was the winner with the pork being so soft and bursting with its own meaty flavor.
