Still my go-to place for banh mi after all these years! Service is quick, staff are friendly and store is kept clean. A good variety of drink, dessert and sandwich options. Only a couple minutes walk from major subway stations.

Their sandwiches are good but they’ve skimmed on the ingredients. I understand prices have went up but the quantity of fillings is less. The beef had more than half onions to meat ratio. Same thing with the pork chop. The pate had 4 slices of meat but the pate was very sad to say very little. The sandwiches from the restaurant on Grand sandwiches Forsyth is better for the same price.

Best bánh mì in Chinatown!! I always get the regular bbq pork (#1) with spicy sauce and it never let me down, very flavorful. They accept both cash and card now and it gets pretty busy around lunch time. Quick service tho and they have standing area to eat.

Amazing Banh Mi! Everything was super fresh and the bread was crispy. The only thing is I didn’t realize it didn’t come with Pate and it was definitely missing that flavor! Overall amazing though, I would just add the pate if you like that!

Probably the best banh mi in Chinatown. Sad that they raised price to $8 now though. Fresh ingredients and fast service. Ordered at the counter and was ready in less than 2 minutes. Love that the bread is a nice crunchy and not stale like other places I’ve been to. The bbq pork was tasty; I will be coming back. You can dine in or takeout but I don’t think there are any chairs.

When I had the first bite of the Banh Mi Saigon (Signature), I was deported back to bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City through my taste buds. The pickled vegetables tasted so authentic and the pork was grilled to perfection.

One of the highly rated banh mi in NYC, the shop brings authentic Vietnamese popular street food in Little Italy. House-made baguette are toasted, giving a crunchy outside and soft inside.

The best Bahn Mi!! So many fresh veggies and flavorful meat at a very reasonable price. The line gets long but moves pretty quickly.

I’ve been getting their Vietnamese sandwiches since the 90s when they were a tiny storefront under the Manhattan Bridge. It’s now much farther than where I usually end up in Chinatown but when you have a craving, it’s worth the hike. My usual is the number 1 and I recently learned that you can add pate to it. Delish! I wish they constructed the sandwich so that you can get a taste of all the different flavors and textures (cool and crunchy cucumbers, sweet and sour pickled vegetables, creamy pate, salty roast pork, crispy toasted bread) all in one bite so I end up taking two bites – one from each side of the sandwich. The portions seem to have decreased but it’s one of the few meals you can get for under $10 now. They now accept credit card and other virtual wallets.

Amazing banh mi. My go to is the grilled chicken banh mi – I have not found anything like it anywhere else. Their shrimp chips are also super addicting. A staple must eat in Chinatown!
