The best garlic noodles and shrimp I’ve had in Portland! Very garlicy and buttery-savory noodles, almost like a lo mein. They do everything so good! The vegan pork belly is a vegetarians mouth-gasm, crunchy, savory on a bed of rice with a fresh salad! Great select beer options, even a hard kombucha! Family and pet friendly with an outside patio. Inside seating options and lots of online orders coming in while we were there! The staff was super kind and offered us to sample the beer before we decided on a great lager!

Best meal of my week. A sweetheart of a young pescatarian lady wearing a NASA sweatshirt took our orders. Phenomenal Banh Mi shrimp po’ boy was better than anything I had in New Orleans. An appetizer of veggie egg rolls and a Thai iced tea with coconut cream topped off my meal. Oh my, I shall return for some more Asian comfort food next time I’m in the neighborhood.

I’ve been singing the praises of Banh Mi Up all summer, encouraging friends to go there, and taking members of my family. However, in my last visit, the amazing and delicious cole slaw had zero fluid/marinade. They completely forget to make it right, and served it dry. I told them about it and the server just shrugged their shoulders. I will give them another try.

A friend recommended this place to me. This place is a definite must go! Plenty of outdoor picnic-style seating, very friendly staff, lots of great food and drink options (even some great asian beer selections!), and they do a Wednesday wing day! Absolutely best wings I’ve ever had! So crispy and delicious!! Also had the pork Banh mi which was ridiculously tasty and savory. definitely going back!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in my neighborhood. The food quality is top notch, delicious quality ingredients with skillfull preparation. The staff is always pleasant, kind, and helpful. The manager in particular has gone above and beyond to make me feel that I’m a valued customer.
