The food was great and super fresh. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is to die for and made just right. Service is quick and efficient. Place was easy to find, eat inside and server was super friendly and helpful in deciding on food.

Delicious and super sweet staff! Ordered the cinnamon cookie, chocolate chip cookie, albacore tuna sandwich and chicken katsu bahn mi. Super tasty and saucy just like I like it. Very refreshing!

I have been sleeping on this place. It is small with limited seating so best for to go or a quick lunch. The person taking th order was friendly and the way she described the food was just how it taste. It was so delicious, reasonably priced too. It wasn’t and overwhelming amount of food either, it was well portioned. This will be one of my regular go to spots. The flavor is incredible!

Staff was genuinely friendly. Eating area is pretty small (4 stools & 3 bar chairs) but very clean ✨

Small restaurant at street level. Parking is tight. A few bar seats inside and one table out front. Interesting takes on Ban Mi with a katsu chicken version, pork belly version etc. Would be nice if they had a classic version too. Garlic cilantro fries are ok. All items are very fresh. Good idea but seems a bit over priced for what it is.

Banh Oui never disappoints. Full of flavors and fresh ingredients. Not a traditional bahn mi but definitely worth a try.

Had a really bad craving of Banh mi and although I wanted to avoid Hollywood area, went there and it was totally worth it. It had the sweetest, attentive staff, and the Banh Oui burger stole the spotlight. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve eaten under $15. Juicy, so flavorful with a distinct Vietnamese taste. The seating area is small, could’ve been more cozier, valet is expensive, had to park 2 blocks away at a meter, but the food is totally worth a try!

Banh Oui makes my favorite banh mi sandwich in LA! They use very high quality ingredients which you can tell even before taking your first bite. The bread is perfectly chewy, the proteins are juicy and well seasoned, the veggies and herbs are crisp and fresh. Pricewise, sure you could get a cheaper banh mi elsewhere but your stomach might not feel as great afterwards or you end up eating a bread-dominant sandwich with half the fillings. The owner and staff are wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. This has been one of my staple lunchtime spots for the last few years and I’m always so excited to order again. Thanks Banh Oui team!!
