Banjo Coffee is a nice quiet little spot, with some pretty good outdoor seating.

Walked over from the Avondale Farmers Market on a Sunday morning. I had no expectations other than a simple cup of coffee but was blown away. This place is so stinking cute, the staff is super pleasant, and the menu is sizable for a quaint shop. The coffee cocktails are amazing if you have time to sip and linger. Try the chai hot toddy with a shot of espresso and prepare to be wowed.

I always get the coffee drip – black – and this coffee is GOOOOD. But man oh man their Lox Bagel is a HIT! Perfect blend of all the deliciousness – capers, onions, salmon, and cream cheese perfection. Oh – and their bagels are yummy!!!!

Just moved back to Atlanta and decided to live in the Decatur area. I stopped by Banjo Coffee the morning after we moved into our new apartment. There you used to be a different coffee place here and it was not that good. I was not expecting a lot here but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the new folks have really improved the inside space. It’s cleaner and easier to figure out what you want to get. The coffee was excellent and I also grabbed some of the pastries because they were clearly from Alon’s which is our favorite bakery. One or two of the baristas were not so friendly but the woman at the register was super nice and introduced herself to me by name and asked me how my day was going.

Service was top tier. They even thought enough about their customer base to accommodate an overflow seating area across the street. It includes an array of books for kids and adults. Really cool spot. I only got the lavender honey beverage but I will def get food next round! 10/10

Absolutely love this place! Awesome coffee, nitro cold brew on tap, super friendly staff, good small bites, and an outside patio. It’s a great small place to relax and unwind, to chi with a few friends, engage in great conversation while sipping on delicious coffee and coffee based drinks. Their beans are 100% organic and fair trade roasted by Cafe Campesino out of Americus, GA. And they have canned cold brew coffee and tea as well. A must go!

Coffee is great, staff is great, love the side lounge across the street with the great patio space. The bagels are stale and sad but the pastries from Alon’s are top notch. If they find a new bagel vendor I would change that to 5 starts for the food.

This place used to be great. Until recently, they had a number of great items and pastries. They say their pastry contact moved to another city. I would get them back I were Banjos. Huge difference in the offerings. But there’s a new cashier there, and her attitude is less than desirable. For the first time sing going there, our coffee was cold. Just a whole different atmosphere.
