The steak was like butter. Also very moist salmon and not over seasoned. Be sure to try the sweet potato fries were awesome! Prompt service and the food came out quickly. Overall a very pleasant experience.

A friend of mine that lives in the area recommended this place to me while I was in town. Place has a good vibe and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I was in a curious mood and tried the open faced green chile burger. First time ever eating a burger with a spoon but I’ll tell you it was definitely worth a try. The chile sauce added a great taste and was not too spicy or overpowering. I recommend anyone to give it a try. Will return next time I’m in town.

Our super friendly and engaging server made this meal a great one. Food was awesome too! I took a chance…because I’ve always hated brussel sprouts…and they were fantastic, with bacon, onions and honey bourbon sauce.

If you are from out of town this is a must visit on your trip/stay. I had 3 different items off the menu, all superb. In Decatur for the week and I ate at 2 must visits. This is one for sure. The other is Railyard. Get here early because it gets crowded. Definitely a local spot which should tell you something. Weekends will be hard to get in if you don’t get there early so you may want to call in a reservation. It is well worth the effort. Great food and service. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Loved it!

I had a reservation there for Valentine’s evening. The food and staff were excellent. I got the grilled pork chop with baked potato and asparagus. My wife got the ribeye with brussels sprouts and a baked potato. Very good food and it came out in a timely manner.

From Mississippi: we chose to eat here based on the beer/spirit selection. Walked in and it was a very light crowd (Wednesday) and I questioned if we made the right choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the owner was at the bar and also super nice. Husband got mushroom swiss with tots (they were out of fries) and I ordered same with garlic mashed potatoes. The burgers were fantastic, the tots were fresh. My mashed potatoes could have been a little more moist but tasted excellent. Blues/rock playing overhead. I could have stayed there til closing if I hadn’t been so tired. Great place.

This is our favorite local spot when we are looking for a relaxed, no-rush dinner. The entree menu is limited but the dishes are always well executed and the service is usually very good. That being said, the food wait times are sometimes hit or miss. The drink selection and the historic downtown ambience are a definite plus. They have a good local draft beer selection and we always like to sample the unique appetizer selections. The brussel sprouts with bacon are amazing and I highly recommended them. Even if you don’t like brussel sprouts, this dish may single-handedly change your mind about cruciferous vegetables.
