Excellent restaurant in Bellingham that is newer in the last few years. Also kid friendly, brought my 6 week old and was a good vibe. The food portions are massive as well. Had the hot chicken and it was VERY hot. If you like spice that is the meal for you!

I’ve eaten here several times, and the food is always amazing. The chicken is moist and tender, and the breading is crisp. I always get the chicken dinner. It’s not cheap, but I honestly get three good sized meals out of it. Two of my friends split the dinner. The Parmesan grits were great, as is the cauliflower side. The hushpuppies (appetizer) were really well done – crunchy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside.

We came in at 5 on a Friday (with a reservation) and nobody was downstairs. They said upstairs is 21+ but we chose to sit next to the window downstairs. We got parking easily right out front but it is pay parking. Service was great and we were served our food *very* quickly. The waitress was always around when we needed her. My boyfriend liked the chicken a lot and said the grits were absolutely top notch. They have a great selection of house made sauces. The cocktails were all really good, especially the black currant mule. The mac and cheese was great, the roux was well made and resulted in a great quality dish, though I wasn’t crazy about the rotini as choice of pasta. The hush puppies were oh so crispy but a bit lacking in flavor, probably needs a dipping sauce (which came with it but I opted not to use. Consider a jalapeño honey dip!). The beans and rice were vegetarian (which I’m so appreciate) but underwhelming as far as flavor, and not enough beans compared to rice. A big downside to this place, personally, was how salty everything was. My boyfriend and I are both southern and this place was great to try but I dont think I’d come back. I do recommend trying it though, especially if you love southern food and chicken!

This is one of the better chicken places in BHam. It’s easily my new addiction. Every food item I have had to date has just blown all expectations. The drinks are also beyond amazing. So many unique house cocktails. The atmosphere is wonderful (if everyone in your party is over 21 try to sit upstairs in the bar area.) Staff are always super friendly. My only wish is there to be an insane you’ll regret it hot chicken option, but I understand that wouldn’t sell well
