The restaurant is very cute inside, and all the tables are numbered. You order your meal to your table by number. I ordered takeout, but I could see that this place would be fun to eat with friends or family. I got the Ragoon Crab egg rolls with grilled chicken, and it was good, but I was a little disappointed by the portion size being a little small. Overall, I would like to go again to check out some of their dumplings.

Super nummy slaw and Kung Pao tofu. I have also had several of their dumpling options and two of their daily specials. I highly recommend BaoBao. It’s my new favorite place in Portland.

Omg. The food is incredible! The beef bulgogi dumplings are so good. I rarely take the time to rate restaurants on here but this is standout food! To top it off, the staff is clearly passionate about the restaurant, they are warm and friendly and genuinely seem to care.

We got the smashed cucumber, bulgogi dumplings, bok choy, kung pao chicken, shaomai, and one each of the fried mochis (peanut one is way better!). It’s a nice neighborhood-y place for dinner.

This was an interesting experience, when you first walk in, the ambience is really relaxing yet elegant and full of culture.

Came after work with a few coworkers and it was just what we were looking for. Think we tried everything on the menu basically. The dumplings are great prefer the steamed ones but all were excellent. I will pass on the crab rangoon next time just because not much flavor and overcooked a bit. Will definitely be going back for more. But the hot teas, wine and cocktails were all excellent.

Highly recommend the Beef Bulgogi dumplings; they are soft and crunchy and probably one of the best dumplings ever. The Maine crab rangoon egg rolls are good but sometimes very salty. The vegetarian chow mein has so much flavor and is an excellent option to share. I went at 6:30 pm and couldn’t get the shrimp dumplings and Lo main fan, so try going early because it is a very popular place, and some dishes are gone in a few hours.

Great, authentic Asian cuisine! Plates are large enough to share or eat on your own. I would recommend trying a number of dishes and sharing so you can try all the wonderful things!! I hear it is usually busy and sometimes hard to get in, but I think we lucked out as there were plenty of open tables. The service is quick and pleasant. I would highly recommend Bao Bao!

Amazing dumplings! Beef bulgogi pot stickers were a perfect bite. Duck spring rolls really fresh tasting. Also have excellent cocktails. Cozy neighborhood joint! We were only in Portland one night and so glad that is where we ended up.

Went for a quick dinner. Spent about 45 mins there and was well worth it. We had the slaw which was outstanding and a few orders of the dumplings. So flavorful. The ordering is a little annoying as you have go up to the counter every time you want something, even a drink if your at the bar. Small inconvenience tor an outstanding meal.
