This phenomenal chef was a guest chef at the Philadelphia museum over the past weekend. The food was so good that he was selling out of a lot of stuff quickly !! I was amazed at how many people were rushing to try the food!! So I had to wait in a bit of a line to get mines but it was well worth it. Also, he was quick and efficient and even with the way he had to rush the food was still put together beautifully.

Bao for lunch today! Keep in mind this is not a sit-in location at the moment so prepare for food on the go. The studio can be easily missed if you’re not familiar with area, but when GPS tells you to turn, just turn hahaha. I love the easy contactless pickup, similar to a drive thru accept the food is brought out to your car. Decent customer and great bunz I’m already planning my return trip!

Wow! These Bao Buns are delicious in taste, plentiful in size, and picture perfect in presentation. We tried three different types; Mongolian Chicken, Curry Chicken and Braised Beef. Each Bun’s protein was complimented by a pickled condiment and a tasty sauce. The buns themselves were perfectly done. (We enjoyed them so quickly, I forgot to take a picture.)

Now my top bao place ! Ordered the Korean fried chicken; Kung pao shrimp bao; General tso chicken bao; soy garlic chicken bao and the taiwanese burrito. Enough food for two. Delicious, wish I could have ordered more for to go. Satisfied with the quality, the price and the Bldg 39 @ the Arsenal where they are located (offer dine in only on Fridays) made the experience even better. Will visit again soon !

Delicious!! I came from Jersey to check this place out. I didn’t realize it was takeout only (well at least when we went which was Thursday evening) because Google said it had dine-in and had dine-in photos, but the woman was SO nice on the phone and it seemed like a small business, so I didn’t care anymore that I would be eating in the car and now that I’m thinking about it, I wonder if it’s because we got there 40 mins before closing… Either way, it was SO worth it!! I spent about $80 (with tax and tip) which I would never do but this place looked awesome and it WAS. My favorite was the Jumbo Shrimp Burrito! I think the gentlemen we met was the chef/owner and he was incredibly nice and personal!! Support this business!! I will be back with more family and friends!! -Lily

The Bao baos are fluffy and packed with flavor, and the fresh salad paired perfectly with it. Hope there will more combo variations without the pork belly. Can’t wait to order again!
