Vermicelli was excellent. The spicy sauce they include with the popcorn chicken was also really good. Staff’s frienely. The interior is very bare, but its not a deal breaker. Will definitely be back to try more next time I’m in the area.

I got the Pulled chicken for $10 and fries for $5. The sandwich was not bad. It’s a bit dry although fresh. But the fries were awful. The potatoes were sour and saggy. I had to throw them away. The take outs didn’t include any ketchup especially since one of the order was fries.

Bao Mi is a simple, yet delicious hidden jewel near LSU and a few other medical facilities. I found out about it after leaving Smoothie King next to it.

I ordered through Uber Eats and the packaging was super cute. It set the stage for what I believed would be a very flavorful meal. Well…everything else went downhill from the point. I tried the KFC baos and there was nothing KFC about the chicken. It seemed like a low quality cut of meat and it was flavorless. The bulgolgi beef baos were better, but still lacking flavor. That was unfortunate because they looked delicious. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with my food and the baos here are super expensive compared to other tastier places.

The place is clean and the food is amazing but a little pricey. One thing I do not like is the customer service, the cashier always has an attitude and give you looks when you ordering. This is my second time coming back to Baomi, and this girl never greet you or even look at you.

Honestly, can’t go wrong with anything you order here. Pulled pork bao or the bulgogi fries are my go to.
