Great food, atmosphere and service. I had spring rolls and the chicken with broccoli; it was good quality tender chicken and the sauce was really good and not overloaded with sugar like other similar restaurants. The portion was pretty large; I could actually get three lunches out of it so I took the rest to go. Baodega is very clean and the atmosphere is really simple and adorable. I would definitely come here again.

We went to many restaurants while visiting NYC, but this one was our absolute favorite! So, we came back again for our last meal in the city. The dumplings are amazing! I had the Crab Roe Soup Dumplings, which were over-the-top delicious and made a meal unto themselves. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. A nice respite from the noises of the street. Highly recommend!

Tasty, semi-traditional dim sum selection; mostly familiar dishes, but everything is prepared with a bit of an attempt at upgrading the dish. It’s largely successful at that. It’s good, but short of great; not the best dim sum in NYC, but definitely well onto the pricier side — though the area is known for priced-up establishments. Fast, but otherwise vanilla service and atmosphere. So, nice, if perhaps a bit pricey for it, but a good option for the area.

Had an early dinner here and it was delicious! My friend and I split several dishes and dessert. Highly recommend the garlic string beans and the sesame dumplings! Our server was super friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back here!

It’s mostly Americanized Chinese food. Modern and fresh deco and cool AC. Fast and friendly service. The chicken w/ string beans was very salty. The soup was good. I was not aware that there was a 4% credit card surcharge. Better they offer a discount for cash payment than adding an additional fee imo

It’s a really overrated restaurant. For starter, it’s very overpriced. The sesame ball is $9 for one! They cut that in half to appear more, but it was a sad over fried over greased with bean paste that’s barely there. I had high expectations for their signature bao but not only it’s tiny, with a size that’s slightly bigger than the soup spoon and with meat that’s barely there. The size should be twice as big with meat stuffed the whole thing. I definitely feel cheated on. I should have known due to its location. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
