Bar 48 is about as cozy as hometown bars get. The owners and staff are plesant and the service is superb. Always try to stop in here when I’m in Elizabeth to grab a beer and wings or a burger.

Food is great. Bar is great. Didn’t give 5 stars bc the waitress kept getting the orders wrong. I asked for Pepsi, I got watered down sprite, then me and my fiance both got chicken wraps but with different things on them and she ended up switching the orders so I ate half of his and he ate half of mine. Other then that great place.

Service was good but food took forever to be delivered to the table. It was almost 45 minutes from when we ordered to when we got our food. Yes it was a Friday night but we only ordered two burgers with fries, a chicken salad and a basket of loaded fries… and the dining room wasn’t all that busy.

This place was great. Looked a little sketchy, I had my two kids with me. We ordered, and the waitress was nice. The food was great, no frills, but everything we wanted and what we got was awesome. Super reasonably priced too!

I don’t know what’s going on, but this used to be one of our very favorite spots, and it’s going downhill fast. The wings aren’t nearly as good as before, my grilled chicken salad was really small for the price, and my husband’s burger dinner ended up on the ground out in the parking lot… if you know what I mean. Not a good experience at all!
