Great BBQ and great staff but let’s discuss the issue before I get to the review. Friendly staff but didn’t pay attention to their first customers!!! We went for breakfast. Got there about 9.45am and they told us “they just sold out of breakfast and changing over for lunch. Grab a drink, grab a seat and we’ll be right with you!” Great. So we sat for almost 40 min while they cut over. No problem. Another family came in around 10 and sat next to us as did a few more people. Then about 10.30 people come in and start stacking up in line. They never announced they were ready or come on up. Nor did they address the family that parked themselves in front of the cash register to tell them there were about a dozen people ahead of her that had been waiting a while…. FYI. Same comment out of the others we had been waiting with. They were curiously waiting to see how customer service player out… oh well. Now for the review.

Loved this little place! The BBQ was excellent – the turkey is my fave. You’ll see kind hardworking people and smiles when you walk in. I recommend the green bean casserole as well! The outdoor eating space is perfect to let the littles run around. Great BBQ joint.

It is a bbq place, so it is expensive, but well with every penny. The food is top quality. I had the brisket, and it just falls apart, which I love. I was skeptical about the cheesy taters. They are like a loaded baked potato, but with creamy cheese. The staff is super friendly. The only things to be aware of are limited parking and indoor seating. This place is fantastic. I’m a fan!

Don’t sleep on this joint! The food was amazing and such a great local joint. The meat was so moist and delicious. The cheesy tators were fantastic. And that banana pudding Were even considering having them cater our wedding!

We tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The staff was great, which matched the service we received. They checked by, several times, to ensure we had everything we needed. The brisket was absolutely delicious, as were the unique side dishes. We will definitely be back. Thank you, also, for the kindly military discount for my veteran husband. Always appreciated.

I recommend the brisket, beef ribs, cornbread, chopped beef sandwich, sausage, Cowboy Pinto Beans, and the Palmers banana pudding. Love the smokey flavor of the brisket with my sandwich. The big surprise was the banana pudding and you can see the crumbs from my pic it was the best!

Wifey was off of work today and I thought we would give this place a try for lunch. Tired of all the chain restaurants moving into our little town I’ve been interested in supporting local small town restaurants. When I first walked in and saw the prices I almost walked out, but decided to stick to my decision to shop small businesses. Boy, we were really happy. We split the 2 meat plate and loved it. I’ve always said the best BBQ in Texas was at home. I can surely learn some lessons from these folk, food was above excellent. Will definitely come back as a treat. You won’t be disappointed here. Perfectly prepared meats and sides for sure. Next time I’ll have to try the pork ribs.

We are here from out of town and found this place just from a Google search. When a place has great reviews like this one did, we typically can’t pass it up. And we understood the hype almost as soon as we walked in! The people were so incredibly kind and the food was amazing! We have two little ones and they said they will typically have toys and things to do outside for kids, which is a game changer when you’re having to entertain kids will eating out haha. Highly, highly recommend giving this place a try – we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
