Another Mom and Pop, hidden gem. The tomato based Bar-B-Q sauce is excellent! I had the Brisket Sandwich with baked beans, coleslaw, and hush puppies. My wife had the Bar-B-Q pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and mac and cheese. The food was delicious, the prices were unbelievable. The cute little dining room takes you back to a time when life was simple and sweet. It has a cozy feel and very friendly staff. This is a road trip must see. It is a short walk from the Pilot truck stop off I-81 Exit 251. Follow me for more Mom and Pop, Hidden Gems all throughout the country.

The fried pickles & fried okra are the bomb! BBQ brisket cooked to perfection. A bit disappointed that the BBQ plate – is a sandwich with sides. Mac n Cheese wasn’t the best – tasted canned.. sat at the table almost 15min- before anyone came to offer service. But it was good service after that. Pulled pork Sandwich is also delish! Not overpriced. Would recommend…

DO NOT EAT HERE. We ended up stopping because the reviews were so high. But I’m sure they just go through and delete the honest reviews on how bad this place is. This place served me and my husband the nastiest food we’ve ever tasted. So bad we got sick and to make matters even worse, we were on a road trip. Would not recommend this place to anyone traveling or local unless you want to be throwing up and stuck in the bathroom. Turned our 4 day trip into a week long trip of suffering with stomach aches. Having to spend more money to stay over at hotels so we can recover from what ever that was they served us. Do not stop here!!!

Very very old fashioned. Our server was nice but she did not deliver essentials to the table like straws and utensils. The food was okay, nothing to brag about. Although they do have a lot of awards I’m not sure how.

We ate here for lunch. Saw everyone else eating fried chicken but since we were eating with people, we decided to not wait the 30 minutes for the chicken (they make it fresh to order). Got the open faced roast beef, BBQ sandwich and other things for kids. Prices were high compared to the portion size and food wasn’t all that good. I’m not sure who eats this BBQ and calls it fantastic. It is decent, nothing more. Waitress was super nice. Nothing bad to say about the service. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean.
