While vacationing in the area we rode by this place the week before and it had a solid line mid-day Sunday. The following Sunday made it back and wow, so happy we did. Met Robert the owner after the rush. Nice guy, he made us a great plate of just about all the meats, even a taster of the fried baloney.

We came out to visit at Whitney Lake Park and we’re trying to find a good barbecue place. Saying good about this place is a complete understatement. My whole family absolutely loved eating here! Oh boy if you like BBQ this is the place for you. Its only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and thats a shame needs to be open more days. You can take it home or eat under the trees. There are trucks and a sand box. We had brisket, sausage, turkey, cole slaw, and potato salad. The meat just melts cut it with a fork so delicious. Cole slaw and potato salad simply delicious. These pictures are whats left after 5 people had their fill. Plenty of leftovers.

I have been going here a while now but lately it’s been terrible paid 14.00 for 6 ribs it was like chewing a leather shoe had to put them in the microwave for 35 minutes in water to be able to eat them and the lemon brownies are like eating a lemon sponge The owner didn’t seem to care didn’t offer me anything! Won’t be back and will not recommend it to anyone who likes barbecue or lemon desserts almost forgot the sausage wrap was tough also the dog got it!!

Excellent BBQ! Friendly folks! Had brisket, ribs, jalapeno sausage, and bologna. All amazing! jalapeno cream corn and potato salad were also excellent. Will definitely be coming back!

We were visiting a friend and was introduced to this place. This was the best bbq I have had in a very long time. Old fashioned Texas bbq and served with bread too. Several places around here don’t serve bread. The sides were very good, as well. Friendly, courteous, and didn’t rush me while I was making up my mind. Just the way a business should conduct itself. My daughter loved it and said it was the best she ever tasted. Wish they had a place here. Can’t wait to go back.
