As a native of California, tacos are my jam, and it’s been a mission looking for good tacos in a Tex-Mex world.

Even though this place is easy to miss, under a bridge and looking rather sketchy the food is amazing!

Best Barbacoa tacos in Tyler. Also, get the pinto beans. I NEVER ordered side beans until I came here. Totally worth a try, but beware it can get super busy from 11-1.

The tacos we’re good, the prices are impossible to beat, but the accuracy was off. I was looking forward to barbacoa, but wound up with chicken and shorted one as well. When we went back in to get our missing taco, they gave us another chicken, so still no barbacoa. Considering they’re only 1.50, I’m not really complaining, and the food was good. I’d come back and give them another try. Maybe they were just too busy and got mixed up.

The tacos were really good. But a word of advice, if your hungry get a six pack of tacos because they are small. Cash only. Every legit taco stand is cash only.

Probably the best tacos I have ever had. I look forward to trying more stuff. I’ve had all three of their tacos and they are all good. The barbacoa was my favorite. You can’t go wrong with any of them though.

What’s that you say? You’ve seen the smoke billowing out from the small shack on the side of the road next to the underpass, but you’ve either never stopped because you were scared or just didn’t know any better? Well…you’re definitely missing out on some of the absolute BEST Mom and Pop Mexican food this town (and 100 miles all around!) has to offer. Amazing tacos with meat so tender you don’t even have to chew! The especial of the day is a good bet. And, there is a small dining room out back for your convenience. Pop in and give them a try, then slap yourself for not stopping sooner!

Barbacoa was the only one I thought was good. Very moist and flavorful! Chicken fajita and Beef fajita were a bit dry. I will be back to get the Barbacoa! We got 7 flour tacos for $9.75
